Sustainable Architecture
For us the sustainable architecture compiles “bioclimatic architecture”, “ecological architecture”, “energetic efficiency” and “active landscaping” in only one process, with the aim of achieving a thermal-acoustic-luminous comfort for the users, and of integrating the building to the nature circles, without forgetting that for being architecture, their products and services must be beautiful, appropriate and significant./HS
Ecological Architecture
There exists the general consensus that the Ecologic Architecture cares about the building materials production to be made through clean production processes; that is that the origin, manufacture, transport and application must be environmentally friendly, renewable and free of pollutants. It considers for its choice the natural, technical, social, cultural, economic and destination resources of the building work./HS
Bioclimatic Architecture
The Bioclimatic Architecture takes advantage of the natural climatic conditions and of the constructive elements physics to air-condition the building interior without machines. It focuses mainly on achieving a thermal comfort, in second place luminous comfort, and in a minor degree acoustic comfort through constructive design and techniques, commonly named “passive strategies”, that in a simple way incorporates heat, cold, light, shadow, wind, silence, humidity, etc, without mechanical devices fed by electricity or fuel. Passive strategies are solar heat, natural ventilation, direction, thermal inertia, among others, that can derive in a Trombe wall, solar chimney, green roof, roof light, water body, etc./HS
Energy Efficiency
The Energetic Efficiency (EE) is the group of actions that allow optimizing the relation between the amount of energy consumed and the final products and services obtained. This can be achieved through the implementation of different measures and investments at a technological, management and cultural habits level in the community.
It basically means to obtain the maximum comfort with the minimum energy, for which passive strategies and a change in the users habits are considered, but the emphasis is in the incorporation of low consumption mechanical devices, either because they are systems more efficient than the old ones, or because they use renewable energy or they are hybrid. This is known as “active strategies” and to this classification belong the photovoltaic and thermal solar collector, microturbine, aerogenerator, cold beams, among others./HS
Active landscaping
The Active Lanscaping uses the vegetation, water and stones to create microclimates, to give shade, to generate a breeze, to produce humidity, to refrigerate the air, among others to contribute to the interior and exterior air-condition of the building, for example the deciduous trees to shadow in summer, the waterfalls to cold the air, the woods to generate breeze, the gravel paves to accumulate/reflect heat, etc./HS /
